Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park is Rwanda’s most captivating tourist activity. 🧭 Home to over 486 endangered mountain gorillas, with about 12 habituated families, only 8 visitors per family per day are allowed, ensuring a peaceful and intimate experience.
🎟️ A gorilla trekking permit costs $1500 per person per trek, and we highly recommend booking well in advance to secure your place.
The day begins early at 6:30 AM 🕡 with a detailed briefing by park rangers, preparing you for the adventure through the jungle. The rules and guidelines shared ensure both your safety and the gorillas’ well-being.
